Born and raised in Chicago, IL, he attended
the Chicago Metro High School from 1988 - 1990, where he was not only an outstanding
athlete but he also earned the status of Home Coming King. He was one of the
leading scorer on the Metro Team. He averaged 28 points and 10 rebounds per
game. In 1990 with the closing of Chicago Metro High School, he attended
Farragut Academy where his athletic promise continued to excel. While there he
earned ALL-SECTION, ALL CITY, ALL STATE and ALL-AMERICAN honors for his outstanding
basketball achievements. He averaged 18 points and 16 rebounds per game.
He graduated from Farragut Academy in 1992. He then
attended college at Northeastern Illinois University where he continued to excel in
basketball.
He has sought every opportunity to develop his professional skills.
He has played in Malmo, Sweden, Izmir, Turkey, Winnipeg, Canada, Radenthein,
Austria and is currently playing in the United States. Upon returning to the
United States he played for Pat Knights Wisconsin Blast in 97-98 and was 5th in the
league for rebounds, and Darryl Dawkins of the Winnipeg Cyclone, where he was 2nd in the
league for rebounds and the Pennsylvania Valley Dawgs, where he was one of the leagues top
rebounders. In his senior year at Northeastern Illinois University, he
lead the team to the best division one record in Chicago
in 1996.
